Sea~Craft offers the internationally recognised Irish Department of Transport marine VHF radio course

and examination for the GMDSS VHF/DSC Short Range Certificate of Competency:

Venue HOWTH YACHT CLUB, Howth, Co. Dublin

Course duration one evening and one full day including exam

Course content theory and practical VHF/DSC radio use in preparation for the exam

Examination immediately following course completion

Examination format 2 short written papers followed by a practical oral examination

Examiner Department of Transport appointed examiner

Exam duration 50 minutes for the 2 written papers + 10 to 15 minutes each candidate for the practical

Cost €240, inclusive of course fee, course material, exam and government certificate issue fee.
