Exams:

Written examination: 50 minutes

Oral examination: 12-15 minutes for each candidate.

Examiner: Dept. of Transport appointed SRC examiner


Cancellation policy:

          If you cancel more than 2 weeks prior to

           course start date 50% of the course fee is refundable;

If you cancel within 2 weeks or less of the course

start date or if you do not not turn up for all or part

of the course or for the exam there will be no refund of the course fee.




Non-attendance or leaving course early.


The entire fee tendered is forfeited.

AUTHORITY TO OPERATE GRANTED BY THE MINISTER FOR TRANSPORT, TOURISM AND SPORT


The holder of this certificate is authorised to perform the duties appropriate to the holder of a Radio Operator’s Short Range Certificate of Competency on a ship in which a radio station has been established under a licence issued by the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport.

The authority shall remain valid until further notice.


the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport may  suspend this Authority to Operate with a view to revocation thereof, if it appears to the Minister that there are sufficient grounds to do so.
